This is a huge week of weather

Snow, severe weather, ice, oh my!

And we…are…back!

2025 is coming in like a heavy hitter with a pair of storm systems set to bring some big-time weather impacts to a vast portion of the country. As a weather nerd, this is the part of weather I’ve grown to really appreciate, even if my storm chaser half isn’t as excited.

Storm 1

The first storm is over the Four Corners region right now and will slide east over the next 48 hours, bringing significant impacts to a large swath of the country.

By Sunday afternoon, a major winter storm will be underway, bringing snow and ice to the Plains, Midwest, and Mid-South. Severe weather is possible tomorrow as well.
