Hey everyone! We backed off of live streaming this year, it was more a product of the year and some tech issues we had.
But as we start the process of thinking about life beyond the 2024 season, we are curious if our subscribers watch Storm Chasing Live Streams. If you do, what are the best things you see? What are the things you enjoy? What are the things you hate? Do you find them useful? Please comment with your thoughts as this is going to help us (and probably others who read this newsletter) build out the best possible experiences for 2025 and beyond.
Very informative and helpful. I have been a storm spotter for about 30 yrs (Amateur Radio Operator for almost 50yrs) and go to Spotter Training every year. Please continue to share your live streaming and any other information that can help us to learn and stay aware.
I watch as much as possible. Curiosity, kinda trying to learn, all kinds of reasons I guess. Please keep sharing. I know it's hard, takes time and work so if you need to stop I understand.
I live in ABQ now, but I am from the Midwest and had three close calls with tornados like in ABQ, how we “CANNOT “ get tornados becaus of the mountains, I experienced one in the Valley in Chattanooga. They said the same thing there. Anyway my interest peaked in chasing after talking to a chaser from Katrina. After the Rolling Fork tornado, I am shifting focus onto rescue. Any advice would be appreciated
Unfortunately, I missed the live streams as I didn't know they were available. If I had known, I would have watched every chance I got, if not every storm you chased. I would be watching for educational purposes. Supposedly, living near the mountains in Virginia, we don't have tornadoes though we had an EF1 May 26, 2024.
As a HAM radio operator over 50 years, Certified Advanced SKYWARN, Freelance Meteorologist and Storm Chaser the live streams help in more ways than most people think. I have video recording every time I go out on a chase. That is quite often here in Florida. As a HAM operator I'm also very active in the ATV live television that HAM operators do. Keep the stream running. I'll be adding in on the streaming this year as our Hurricane season is said to be an above active year. KV4ATV Northwest Florida.

Thank you for what you do.

I rarely see them due to time difference 🇬🇧😫 but if they were available to view after, then I would 100% watch back!

This is so very necessary but so scary to me. I pray all chasers will be safe. Thanks for all you do to keep people safe
