October 21, 2017 Storm Chase | Tornado Warned Supercell in SW OK Chase
This was a very interesting fall chase day with a really well developed supercell in SW OK that came very close to producing a tornado before it transitioned into a HP supercell and eventually grew upscale into an MCS which we followed home with some epic lightning views.

Sometimes, its the unexpected raindrop that scares storm chasers most. As we approached a supercell, we ended up hitting the cells RFD with wind and intermittent rain — which hit the car as a quite sudden burst of rain. Needless to say, it caught us way off guard.
