Moisture isn’t going to be high-quality on Saturday, but there will probably be just enough instability mixed with moderate wind shear to get a severe storm or two off of the dryline. An upper-level storm system will be moving east over the Plains, bringing with it just enough of everything to get storms going.

The main risk looks to be large hail. The drier low levels tend to signify a very low, but not zero, tornado risk. We’ll be keeping an eye on this one to see if there is a possibility of a storm chase!
