Storm chasing is often thought of as a pursuit of tornadoes and awe-inspiring storm structures, but what if success in storm chasing was something different? In this (hopefully) thought-provoking video, I challenge the traditional ideas of storm chasing success and delve into what it really means to be successful in this exhilarating hobby.
Through my personal anecdotes, I take some time to explore the idea that success in storm chasing isn’t just about seeing the most tornadoes or chasing the biggest storms, but instead it’s about constantly learning and having fun. I touch on the importance of staying off of social media as much as you can (and keep your eyes off your screens period) and finding joy in every storm chase, no matter how big or small. Let me know what you think in the comments!
