The Best Places to Storm Chase

And the tropics are getting busier and busier!

I’ve spent 20 years chasing most of tornado alley (sans eastern Montana really) — and over that time I’ve developed some pretty strong opinions on my favorite areas to storm chase. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of really incredible places to witness storms, way more than a list of three regions could provide.

For this completely biased, unscientific, but personally preferred list -- I chose the three places I have tended to see more storms that produce tornadoes + good storm structure. I tend to lean more into tornadoes than I do storm structure as something I am after (though I will never complain about interesting storm structure!).
