This day was one of the few highlights of the 2018 chase season. An outflow boundary was draped across NC OK on this day but we broke our #1 rule (never ignore boundaries in May) and decided to chase the dryline. This ended up being the right move with a supercell with incredible structure and a tornado near Mobeetie, Texas.

This storm was powerful but then merged with a second supercell with a bit of fujiwara to the merger. Afterwards the structure went out of this world with 90+ mph winds and baseball size hail in the core.

What a chase day!
