This was a more classic looking day as opposed to the day before, as moisture was somewhat higher and the shear was better overall. However, the problem we were dealing with on this day was the fact the cap was quite strong, especially as you got towards the KS/OK border. With Sanner’s chase range limited due to TV, this meant that getting a storm would be quite difficult and then getting a storm to sustain would be even more difficult.
