Did you know that not all tornado watches are made equal? In fact, tornado watches are issued with enhanced products attached to them like probabilities of different severe weather as well as extended information about the threats of the day.
In this video, I’ll walk you through tornado watch text and products and explain how to discern when a tornado watch is a lower end watch vs. a PDS level watch. We’ll also talk about how to read the watch text as well as how to get updates on the meteorologists thoughts at the SPC for the watch area after it is issued.
As you prepare for the heart of storm season this year, make sure you are able to stay weather aware! This video will help you up your game and, if you haven’t yet done so, be sure to check out the other videos on our channel geared towards severe weather preparedness.

You you have recap videos from seasons past that have the tornadoes you encountered that season?
In Oklahoma?
Is the pds tornado watch based on number or is it how spc thinks
I'm in Bowie County..the very top right county on texas/Arkansas border. I remember this particular sever storm warning in March lol. We had funnel clouds over the lake near my house. It was a good storm.
