There’s going to be a lot of rain over the next week in the Southeast, and likely a severe weather threat or two by late week. Snow will fall over the Rockies associated with that same system.

While a lot of the Southeast was mired in drought last year, it seems like this year is off to a good start. Drought conditions have continued to improve across large swaths of this part of the country, and it is likely we’ll see near-complete elimination by the end of the Spring.
