We wrote about the impending warm-up yesterday, and today is an excellent time to check in with the storm track. 

As you can see on this WPC forecast graphic, the bulk of the rain in the country will fall in the South-Central part of the country, on the eastern edge of the Southern Plains. There are also some moisture-filled storms on the Pacific Coast as well.

But for our purposes, we’re paying attention to this anticipated rain event that should drop over an inch of rain or more in the region over the next week. The bulk of the precip should fall on Monday or after. At this time, it does not appear rich moisture will make it far north, and with cooler surface temperatures present, the severe weather risk is very low to zero.
