There’s nothing to jinx here, the pattern today is going to be quiet with cool/dry air filtering into the region. Severe weather chances may return (albeit very marginal) tomorrow and especially Sunday. Everything looks lower end generally though.

We don’t expect much else through about Wednesday. The pattern should pick up again starting then, but models aren’t handling the mid-range pattern well, with tons of inconsistency. But it will be late May which is the historical peak of tornado numbers nationwide, so it’s likely we will see at least some severe weather the rest of the month.
