The sixth day of the Rhea wildfire featured a fire setup that was described as ‘extremely critical.’ Very strong winds, hot temperatures and dewpoints cratering meant that wildfire spread conditions were on the extreme side. This was a day that would feature a when, not if, of a major breakout of the Rhea wildfire.
