Tell me if you’ve heard this before, a big supercell moves over Denton, TX with copious large hail in April.
This supercell formed just south of a surface triple point and moved east and south, almost producing a tornado before it dropped copious hail on us. We let the storm overtake us at I-35, not wanting to continue the chase into the DFW metroplex — we tried to line up for the biggest hail and just barely missed, still documenting some big stones.
