At 3 p.m., storms are now forming both in west Texas and along the dryline in Western Oklahoma and the surface front in Southern Kansas. A severe thunderstorm watch is out. Brett is out in the field today, monitoring things closely in Western Oklahoma.

There is no live stream from us, though, today, as this author is watching this setup from a state away. Expect the large hail risk to ramp up in the next few hours with damaging winds becoming a bigger threat at/after sunset. There remains a narrow window for a tornado if you have a dominant supercell from late afternoon to just after sunset, but that is a low risk overall.
