Ssn. 2 Ep. 11 – Earth Suckers from Kansas – Insanely dusty supercell with incredible inflow! 06/15/11

The Titans are in Kansas on a typical iffy June day where instability is extremely high and wind shear is merely sufficient. If a storm goes, they’re going to see something extreme — and that’s exactly what happened as a beastly tornadic supercell formed between Greensburg and Dodge City. This supercell had inflow winds of nearly 100mph and created a dust storm which resembled the dust bowl at times!
