TornadoTitans.com was initially founded by storm chasers Chris Sanner and Brandon Goforth in 2009. Since then, Josh Ward, Brandon Sullivan, and Brett Wright have joined our team to create one of the most dynamic and successful storm chasing brands in the world over the past few years. We are incredibly passionate about the sky and capturing it with a camera. Our work has been featured in various national and international outlets. Who Are We?
TornadoTitans.com is a loosely affiliated group of storm chasers including Chris Sanner, Brandon Goforth, Josh Ward, Brandon Sullivan, and Brett Wright. Our reach also includes over one dozen affiliates and partner storm chasers and visual artists from across the United States. We are partnered with Rapid Rotation Storm Tours, which takes tourists on storm chases each spring! We work closely with StormChasingVideo.com and our friend Doug Kiesling as well.
Our team has over 40 years of combined experience chasing severe weather, with nearly 400 total tornadoes and many more extreme weather events logged as a team. We are incredibly experienced and good at what we do, but what we do poses serious risks to our lives. Please do not try to pursue extreme weather without proper education, training, and readiness.

What do we do?
At our most basic level, we chase extreme weather. From supercells and tornadoes in the Great Plains in the Springs, to hurricanes in the summers and fall, to blizzards in the winter and everything in between. We share our work with our followers online, we educate and inform on the dangers of extreme weather either generally or specifically with regards to upcoming events. We teach about photography, videography, cameras, and share our tips on how to become better visual artists. We accomplish a lot of this through our blog, which allows us to reach our followers, curious onlookers, etc. with our content. We sincerely hope the content experience is just as enjoyable to consume as it is to prepare!
What is our mission?
We strive to capture the atmosphere in it’s most uniquely violent forms. Through that pursuit, we hope to raise awareness about the dangers of extreme weather and the need for safety and preparedness. Also, we seek to teach upcoming photographers and videographers about not only storm photography, but for the visual arts as a whole.
We are in no way, shape, or form associated with the National Weather Service or NOAA in any way. While we sometimes provide real time weather information, it is neither our goal nor mission to be a real time weather source meant to deliver timely and accurate weather information. If you want to stay up to date on the latest in extreme weather in your neighborhood, Weather.gov is your answer online with a weather radio to protect you while you sleep.
