Temperatures are falling steadily behind the front, with temps all the way down into the 50s in NW Oklahoma and low 50s in the Panhandle.
Autumn arrives!
A major season changing cold front has arrived in the Southern Plains, with temperatures behind it as low as the low-50s in the region. High temperatures the next couple of days will struggle to reach even 70 in Oklahoma, with on and off rain chances throughout the entire time. Texans are seeing a similar cool down behind the front, with the effects steadily decreasing as you go south through the state. Severe weather chances are extremely low with this front, as instability will be nothing short of weak.

Radar image as of mid-morning shows a steady batch of rain moving northward this morning. Many areas will get pretty healthy rainfall totals the next two days in the region.
